How we are compensated
When you buy a policy through us, the insurance carrier pays us a commission, a percentage of the premium. The rate is set by the carrier, not by us, and it may vary by carrier and by product. Some carriers also pay contingent compensation based on the overall volume or performance of the business an agency places with them.
You do not pay us a separate fee for quotes or advice. If you want to know the specific compensation we would receive on your policy, ask us. We will tell you. Details are available on request, in writing if you prefer.
