Privacy policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
The short version: to quote insurance, we have to collect real information about you, and we have to share it with the insurance carriers who might cover you. That is the entire business model. What we never do is sell it. The long version follows.
What we collect
When you request a quote, we collect what underwriters require:
- Who you are. Name, email, phone number, mailing address, and date of birth where a carrier requires it.
- What you are insuring. Property addresses, construction and safety details, vehicle information including VINs, and, for business coverage, what your business does, its payroll, and its revenue.
- Your driving and claims history. With your knowledge, carriers and their rating tools may pull consumer reports such as motor vehicle records and loss-history reports (the industry calls these CLUE reports, a database of prior insurance claims). We collect only what the quote requires.
Like most websites, we also collect some technical information automatically. See the cookies section below.
How we use it
We use your information to do the job you asked us to do:
- To obtain quotes from the insurance carriers we represent, which means sharing your information with those carriers, their underwriters, and their rating systems.
- To place, service, renew, and help you make claims on your policies.
- To respond when you contact us.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
As an insurance agency, we are a financial institution under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the federal law that governs how financial institutions handle nonpublic personal information. We limit the collection, use, and disclosure of your information to what that law allows and what your insurance actually requires.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. Not to marketers, not to lead brokers, not to anyone, not for any price. We share it only to quote and service your insurance, with service providers who are bound to confidentiality, or when the law requires it. A quote request here does not put you on anyone else’s call list.
Cookies and analytics
We may use standard analytics to understand how this site is used: which pages people visit and roughly where visitors come from. That may involve cookies, which are small files your browser stores. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, and you can still get a quote.
Third-party links
If this site links to sites we do not control, such as carrier claim and payment portals, their privacy practices apply once you leave our site, not ours. We choose links carefully, but we cannot vouch for another company’s privacy policy. Read theirs.
Your choices
- You never have to give us information, though without it, we cannot quote your insurance. That trade-off is unavoidable.
- You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and out of non-essential email using the unsubscribe link in any message.
- You can ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong. We will.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is material, meaning it would actually affect how your information is handled, we will say so plainly here rather than bury it.
